Julieann M. Thurlow is the President and CEO of Reading Cooperative Bank, responsible for the bank's strategic direction and management. Julie is the current Chair of the American Bankers Association. In 2022, Julieann was appointed to the board of the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency; and in 2024 was named co-chair of the Massachusetts Fintech Hub. She is a founding member of Alloy Labs and a Director of the Atlantic Community Bankers Bank. Locally, she serves on the board of the Lawrence Partnership, the Massachusetts Taxpayer Foundation, LEADS, Inc., the Greater Lawrence Community Health Center, and Winchester Hospital. Julie earned her MBA from Fairfield University and has completed advanced studies at the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, Harvard Business School, and Wharton’s Aresty Institute. She is the mother of three talented young adults that have served as her inspiration to innovate.
