Laurent Van Huffel is the co-founder and CEO of OpenFinity.org, an online community dedicated to helping the financial industry navigate the open finance landscape in North America through community-powered education and support. With a career spanning over two decades with emerging growth companies and publicly traded institutions, Laurent has been at the forefront of financial innovation. He spent the last two years advocating for open banking in North America, fueled by the upcoming CFPB 1033 rule. Laurent played a pivotal role in driving transformative initiatives in payments that enhance banking operations and customer experiences. He helped the largest banks worldwide build command and control centers focused on proactively identifying and solving payment processing issues before they impact customers. Laurent holds an MS in Computer Science from Supinfo University in Paris and completed an executive program, 'Building and Leading Customer-Centric Organizations,' at Harvard Business School.
