As President and CEO of Curql Collective, LLC, Nick Evens cultivates opportunities for fintech and credit unions to collaborate on breakthrough technologies, transforming the industry with a best-in-class member experience. Curql Fund I, with 68 credit union and industry investors and over $250MM in capital, supports transformative technology for credit unions. Prior to leading Curql Collective, Nick was President of The Veridian Group, Inc. (TVG), the wholly-owned CUSO holding company of Veridian Credit Union. There, he led equity investment strategy for the $5.4B institution. Based in Waterloo, Iowa, TVG’s holdings included Veridian Insurance and Veridian Fiscal Solutions. During his tenure, Nick managed over ten direct minority investments in CUSO companies, including Dwolla, Alkami Technology, and Moov Financial, committing approximately $10MM in venture or seed capital funds.
