Arvind Ayyala is a Partner at Geodesic Capital, focused on software investments across enterprise technology stack, fintech and health IT. He was previously co-leading North American growth investments in similar segments, for Singapore-based EDBI. He has been fortunate to make >25investments and/or Board positions - including Transcarent, Sakana.ai, Nova Credit, NileNetworks, TRM, Sprinklr (CXM); Walkme (WKME); Livongo (LVGO/TDOC); Hedvig (CVLT);Taulia (SAP); Velocloud (VMW); Druva, Seismic, Feedzai, Vesta, Carta, Aetion, Convera, PICOetc. Prior to EDBI, Arvind was with Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), planning and executing the country’s economic development. He worked across Energy & Chemicals, Engineering Services, Healthcare and Technology sectors and was co-running EDB’s work in India and Sri Lanka, while based in Mumbai. His contribution included leading ground work within EDB, in shaping Clifford Capital, Singapore’s first and only government-backed infrastructure project finance company which was brought about with the support of Ministry of Finance/Singapore government and private sector banks. Early in his career, he worked as #2 Sales Engineer for Philadelphia-based Load Control Technologies, a non-destructive technology-centric start-up with a focus on building and converting sales pipeline with F100 companies. Arvind graduated from NUS’ (National University of Singapore) Chemical Engineering program. He also graduated on scholarship from NUS Overseas Colleges at University of Pennsylvania in technology ventures. He earned his MBA at Boston University with Distinction and has CFA Level1.Outside of work, Arvind is the creator and co-host of UNPAK3D Podcast which is for operators by operators. He also serves as the appointed Chairperson for NUS Alumni Chapter in SF-Bayarea, the only chapter in the USA. He is also a Member/Patron of Indiaspora, a non-profit platform that is geared to inspire Indian diaspora to be a force for good, through philanthropy, civic engagement and entrepreneurship.
