Huong T Tran is the Founder & Managing Partner of 6igma Ventures, an early-stage venture fund focused on fintech infrastructure and applied AI platforms bridging Asia and the United States.

She brings over 20 years of experience across finance and retail banking. Over the past decade, she built and scaled one of Vietnam’s leading retail banking platforms to market-leading positions in a 100-million-person market, serving more than 10 million customers and generating over US$3.5B in revenue across products including credit cards, secured lending, and bancassurance. Under her leadership, these businesses achieved 65% CAGR over five years and reached more than US$10B in assets under management.

Huong founded 6igma Ventures to connect high-growth Asian markets with the U.S. technology ecosystem, investing in structural opportunities shaping the next generation of financial and technology infrastructure. She has advised more than 30 startups and focuses on identifying underpenetrated markets, building infrastructure early, and compounding market leadership over time.

She holds degrees in Mathematics and Economics, an MBA in Finance from Fordham University, and executive education from Harvard Business School and Wharton.
