Kourosh Adlparvar is the leader on the Payment Partnerships team at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), a division of Frist Citizens Bank, where he is focused on strategic alliances that enable and empower payments for the bank’s diverse client base. With over 13 years of experience in the banking and fintech sector, Kourosh spent seven years at Wells Fargo advising technology clients on complex payment solutions, guiding companies through every stage of growth, from two-person startups to large-scale public fintechs. At SVB, he manages the end-to-end lifecycle of partnerships, from discovery and financial evaluation to technical integration and commercialization. Kourosh is currently finishing his MBA at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, building on his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley. He is a passionate advocate for co-creation models and combines deep industry expertise and experience with a "change agent" mindset to help banks and fintechs create and sustain powerful, high-impact partnerships.
