Miriam is a Director of the OCC’s Office of Financial Technology (formerly known as the Office of Innovation), a role which she assumed in January 2025. Prior to this she served as a Financial Technology Policy Specialist, primarily focused on issues relating to distributed ledger technology, tokenization, crypto-assets, and bank-fintech arrangements. Since joining the OCC in 2004, Miriam has also served as an examiner in the Community, Midsize, and Large Bank Supervision lines of business.
