Profile

Yasaman Hadjibashi is the Co-Founder and CEO of Stretch, a technology company that powers financial assistance programs for government agencies serving justice-involved populations.

Prior to Stretch, Yassi served in various executive roles across data, product, and strategy at large banking institutions. As Managing Director and Global Head of Data for Citigroup's Consumer Banking Technology division, she led the enterprise's large-scale data transformation and development of new analytics capabilities that drove growth in deposits and lending products. She served on the Board of Directors for Citi Department Stores National Bank, an FDIC-insured subsidiary of Citibank North America that is co-owned with Macy’s.

The National Diversity Council named her one of the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology in 2019 and she was awarded as Global Leader and Data Leader of the Year by Information Age’s Women in I.T. Awards in 2018 and 2019.

Prior to Citi, she served as Group Chief Innovation and Data Officer for Barclays across all its African businesses where her work was acknowledged with several Gartner and other industry awards. She launched and scaled a series of new products and customer experiences across different business units and geographies for the bank.

Yassi holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. She is a Presidential Leadership Scholar.
