Flame is a very strategic gathering of industry experts
I think this year is quite strategic, especially given what the disruption the world is seeing in the energy space. And indeed, I see the key players within Europe where our major market in energy is actually present... Nigeria Energy is, of course, one of the major suppliers.
There's a lot of developments happening within the African space.

My favourite conference to attend
It's great to come here and be really in touch with what the market is thinking right now, particularly in a in a moment of great uncertainty for the global LNG markets.
We have undersupply today and potentially oversupply in the future. And what the market, I think, should should really be watching for is the tipping point at which we go from this supply crisis now to supply returning from the Mideast Gulf coupled with the liquefaction growth in North America, really increasing supply in the market, and then the question of where the demand comes from to soak up that supply.

The transatlantic energy relationship between the US and Europe
We're here with many US companies, exporters, upstream producers and various aspects of European industry. I had a lot of great meetings and am here to take in a sense of what the medium and long market is.
Non tariff barriers are a really important priority for the administration where we have a lot of supply.

Deputy Assistant Secretary
US Department of Energy

Connect with the largest gas exporters in Europe
Connecting regulation, exploration, development and production - to ensure long term stable and reliable exports of oil and gas
We regulate private sector oil and gas activities at the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Norway is the largest producer and net exporter of oil and gas in Europe which is why we attend Flame - to talk about the important issues of the day when it comes to gas in Europe.
Lars Erik Omot
Ministry of Energy in Norway
