Angus is a Senior Manager at Great Britain’s National Energy System Operator (NESO), leading gas and hydrogen network planning. As part of the Strategic Energy Planning directorate, Angus contributes to £100bn infrastructure planning and coordinates gas-related topics across NESO. Angus joined NESO in November 2023 after 18 years at AFRY Management Consulting, where Angus specialized in global gas markets, pipeline and storage valuation, and also worked on electricity network digitalisation, hydrogen, biomethane, energy law, and gas regulation. Earlier, Angus spent a decade planning GB’s gas transmission network.
