Doug has been involved in liberalising gas markets in Europe since 1991 and has held operational, commercial, regulatory and external affairs positions in energy companies in retail, trading, and production and supply. Most recently he served as Head of Regulatory Affairs for BP's gas business in Europe, before setting up a company providing freelance regulatory consulting services.
