Navin has been an energy trader for over 20 years having worked for utilities, energy trading companies and global banks. He currently serves as the Head of Trading at Alpiq, having joined the firm in 2020. There he manages a team of European Energy Traders covering asset-back trading, client risk management and proprietary trading.

Prior to joining Alpiq, Navin has worked in the trading business of Engie [Paris], Citigroup and EdF Trading [both in London] in various roles covering client-flow, structured products trading and asset-backed trading which enabled him to gain expertise of not only European Energy Markets but also Global Commodity markets including Power, Gas, Oil, Base and Precious metals and Agricultural commodities.

Navin holds a PhD in Engineering [Imperial College, London 2001] and currently lives near Zurich.
