Niels den Nijs is the founder and current CEO of Titan, a leading clean fuels provider company in the maritime sector. He counts over 25 years of expertise in the energy industry and many achievements with Titan.

His journey commenced with noteworthy roles, including his tenure as the Head of Natural Gas Trading EMEA at Cargill. Here, he managed a substantial portfolio and oversaw physical storage, pipeline exposure, and LNG regasification. Before this, as the Managing Director of Oil and Gas Trading at Vattenfall, Niels directed a comprehensive pan-European trading portfolio encompassing Brent, gasoil, fuel oil, and gas markets.

Niels earned his MSc in Engineering from Delft University and solidified his academic prowess through his career trajectory. Renowned for his visionary leadership, he continues to steer Titan towards innovating advancements in the path towards maritime decarbonization.
