Pedro Cespedes joined ACER in 2023 as LNG Expert in the Gas, Infrastructure and Retail Department. He leads ACER’s LNG activities such as monitoring of the LNG market and ACER’s LNG Price Assessment and Benchmark. He has over 15 years experience in the energy business working for utilities, transmission system operators and consultancy firms. He has been working extensively in the LNG business since 2010 in LNG GSA price reviews and arbitration proceedings. Pedro has also worked for the International Energy Agency (IEA) as LNG Market Analyst in the Gas, Coal & Power Markets Division. His expertise spans from Asset Management to Commercial and Strategic advice
