Peter Kristensen represents CO₂ Hub Europe, an independent, non-commercial platform focused on enabling a functioning European market for CO₂ transport and permanent storage. His work centres on the “system design” constraints to scaling CCS in Europe—cross-border infrastructure development, standardisation and interoperability, and regulatory/market coordination across Member States. He engages with policymakers and senior stakeholders on how carbon markets and EU frameworks (including the EU ETS and CBAM) interact with the real-economy requirements for investable CO₂ transport and storage capacity.
