Sandro Giannotti is Head of Gas Trading in Axpo, with overall responsibility for its gas trading activities and managing long-term gas supply.

He joined Axpo in 2009 as a Gas Analyst. Before taking up his present position, he was responsible for growing the company’s physical gas operations. This included overseeing its interests in the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline supplying Caspian gas to Europe, establishing Axpo’s Ukraine subsidiary and developing the trading activities of Axpo Bulgaria in Eastern Europe.

Sandro holds an Executive MBA from the University of Bocconi in Italy and a Masters in Telecommunication Engineering from Politecnico of Milano.
