Svein Skeie has worked with Equinor ASA (formerly Statoil and StatoilHydro) since 1996, and from June 2022 as SVP Strategy and Business Development (SBD). Prior to this he has had positions with the CFO area as head of Treasury, head of Performance Management and Risk and as acting CFO from November 2020 until June 2021. In his current role as head of SBD in the business area Marketing, Midstream and Processing (MMP), his scope includes developing cross-commodity initiatives, value chains for emerging, low-carbon fuels, and carbon markets. Svein has also been chairman of the board of directors for the Northern Lights carbon transport and storage project in Norway, a large-scale project offering CO2 transport and storage solutions to third-parties on a commercial basis.
