Gulfstream LNG is a 4 MTPA modular mid-scale greenfield onshore export project to be located along the Mississippi River on the Louisiana Gulf Coast. Gulfstream LNG has secured a 400 acre deepwater site with over 2 km of riverfront, has received its initial DoE export permit, has closed on its initial seed funding round, and has recently begun the US government Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) permitting process as the first new greenfield export project to enter the process since 2019. Gulfstream LNG has selected its major technical partners expects to begin production in 2030, in time with the expected global market supply shortfall.
