Profile

Aysha Hamad Alhammadi is the AVP for the Disease Management Programme, at the National Insurance Company - Daman, part of PureHealth, the largest integrated healthcare platform in the Middle East. She has held the role since July 2024 and has been an employee of Daman since 2017.

In her position, Aysha is responsible for running the operations of the Disease Management department. As an expert in developing disease and care management programmes, she is committed to relentlessly improving the workflow and vision of the programmes. She is also responsible for population health studies and analysing medical improvement KPIs. Additionally, she is committed to advancing public health and delivering measurable improvement in patient care through effective wellness programs, that are targeted towards the population and their needs.

Outside of her role with Daman, Aysha graduated from the first batch of the Nafis Leadership programme, in collaboration with the UAE Government Leaders Programme, additionally she has completed a variety of training modules and certificates, which include the Advanced Professional Training - Change Management (University of Bath), and the Kaizen Programme in 2022.

Aysha graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability Sciences and Humanities, with a specialisation in Public Health and Nutrition, from Zayed University, Abu Dhabi, in December 2016. She also completed an internship in Clinical Dietetics (MSc) at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus, in December 2016.
