Mrs. Fatma Dirkes is Vice President and Head of Executive & Professional Education at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, where she leads global initiatives in executive learning, leadership development, and future skills. With a career spanning over 90 countries, she has designed and implemented capacity-building and advisory programs for international organisations including the EU, EIB, EBRD, ADB, AfDB, and KfW.

Fatma’s expertise lies at the intersection of skills development, nationalisation strategies, and cross-border talent ecosystems. She has overseen the Frankfurt School’s e-Campus, which has certified more than 20,000 professionals worldwide, and has been instrumental in advancing sustainable finance literacy, leadership education, and digital innovation across diverse markets.

As President of the European Banking and Financial Training Association (EBTN), she champions skills recognition, cross-generational knowledge transfer, and the mobility of talent. She brings deep insights into how public-private collaboration, localisation-aligned frameworks, and future skills strategies can strengthen workforce readiness in the GCC and beyond.
