Profile

Gargi Banerjee is a globally awarded HR leader with over 20 years of multi-sector experience across the UAE, GCC, South Asia, and Africa. As a CHRO and Strategic People & Culture Leader, she has partnered with CEOs, Boards, and leadership teams to drive enterprise-wide transformation, talent strategy, and culture excellence across industries including pharma, FMCG, EPC, and manufacturing.

Gargi is known for her ability to blend culture-building with commercial impact—embedding purpose, belonging, and accountability into the DNA of organisations. She has led large-scale HR digitisation (reducing manual work by 80%), introduced gamified learning and interactive performance systems, and launched DEI programs that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Her approach to employee engagement goes beyond surveys and events—she designs ecosystems where people feel connected, empowered, and aligned with business goals. For Gargi, culture is not a “soft” initiative—it’s a strategic lever that drives performance, retention, and innovation.

She holds global credentials including GPHR®, SPHRi®, and certifications in Organisation Design & Change Management, and is an alumna of IIM Ahmedabad’s Strategic HRM program. Recognised with the Global Strategic HR Leadership Award, Gargi is followed by over 17,000 professionals on LinkedIn for her insights on building future-ready, high-performing, and inclusive workplaces.

At HRSE Dubai 2025, Gargi will speak on “Reimagining Employee Engagement: Culture as a Catalyst for Performance”, sharing how organisations can move from transactional engagement to transformative experiences that unlock human potential and business value.

“HR is not about policies—it’s about people, performance, and purpose. Culture is the engine, and engagement is the fuel.”
