Mark Hourany, a data and analytics leader with a strong foundation in finance, business management, and advanced analytics. He graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Notre Dame University, earned his Executive Master’s in Business Management from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2017, and completed his Master’s in Business Analytics and Big Data from IE University in 2023.

From 2013 to 2016, Mark worked as a Management Consultant in Saudi Arabia’s public sector, advising on workforce planning and organisational design. In 2018, he joined Chalhoub Group as a Senior HR Analyst, where he built the People Analytics department from the ground up. Today, he serves as the Group’s Director of People Analytics, leading a team and overseeing the end-to-end data ecosystem; from engineering and reporting to AI and machine learning applications; empowering over 500 stakeholders with data-driven insights.
