Safeer Mohammed is a Global HR Leader with 20+ years of diverse industry/ regional experience. Currently serving as the Chief Operating O cer (COO) of the Global Capability Centre of Sobha – Latinem Pvt. Ltd. and HR Director/Transformation Leader at Sobha Constructions & Related Entities for the Middle East Region, where he is leading a workforce of 50,000+ people. He has extensive experience in leadership roles across HR Advisory, Business Partnership, Talent Development, and Acquisition. As COO for Latinem, he spearheads the GCC strategy through operational excellence and innovation to enable company’s long-term global expansion.
Additionally, as a people champion, he leads Transformation and HR initiatives across multiple Sobha entities. Prior to this, he was the Chief Human Resources O cer & Compliance leader at iD Fresh Food Pvt Ltd. His earlier experience includes serving as HR Director & Head of Talent Development at Stanley Black Decker, overseeing emerging markets such as the Middle East & North Africa, South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, Russia, and Turkey.
His career also includes impactful leadership roles at organizations like General Electric and KPMG, where he managed multicultural teams across South Asia and the Middle East. With expertise in stakeholder engagement, he has worked across industries including Energy, Power, Appliances, Lighting, Automation, Retail, Tools, and IT. He has led business transformations, large-scale change management initiatives, and greenfield operations, consistently driving positive results.
He has driven functional transformation through innovation & digitization. His strong execution skills, commercial acumen, and commitment to team development underpin his leadership style.
