Ali S. AlKhater is a distinguished senior HR leader with over 21 years of expertise in human capital management, organisational transformation, and leadership development within global Energy and Oil & Gas companies. He is currently the Head of HR & Shared Services at Vision Industries Group, one of Saudi Arabia’s most recognised players in the renewable energy sector. In this role, Ali continues to leverage his strategic vision and leadership to enhance the entire employee lifecycle, encompassing talent acquisition, engagement, development, performance management, policy formulation, and legal compliance.

Prior to joining Vision Industries, Ali held several key leadership roles that significantly shaped the HR landscape in major multinational organisations. As the Executive Director of Human Resources at Air Liquide, a global leader in industrial gases, he led the HR function across Saudi Arabia for nearly four years, spearheading impactful initiatives that enhanced workforce engagement and business efficiency. His exceptional contributions were recognised in 2019, when Air Liquide awarded him for implementing one of the best Employee Experience (EX) programs.

Ali also played a pivotal role in GE Energy’s HR leadership team in Saudi Arabia, actively contributing to the company's regional transformation in vision, culture, and talent strategies. His expertise spans nationalisation, local talent development, employee experience, diversity, and total rewards strategies, making him a key driver of HR innovation in the region.

Earlier in his career, Ali was instrumental in establishing the HR function at Weatherford Oil Company in 2008, where he earned the Best HR Manager award twice for his outstanding contributions to organisational excellence and workforce development.

His thought leadership in HR has been widely recognised, earning him prestigious accolades such as:
