Faisal A. Abdalla is the Chief HR and Kaizen Officer at Abdul Latif Jameel, a globally diversified, family-owned business founded in 1945. He is responsible for fostering a cohesive, values-driven organisational culture and advancing talent development, associate engagement, and governance through Kaizen and best-in-class HR practices.

Since joining Abdul Latif Jameel in 2001, Mr. Abdalla has held key leadership roles, including Vice President of Abdul Latif Jameel Motors Saudi Arabia (2008–2021), where he tripled business growth, expanded market share, and led major transformations in marketing, IT, aftersales, and HR. Under his leadership, ALJ Motors became the world’s largest independent Toyota distributor. Prior to ALJ, he held executive positions at GE where he drove B2B e-commerce expansion and strategic joint ventures. He previously held senior leadership roles at Citibank.

A champion of culture, performance, engagement, and continuous improvement, Mr. Abdalla has played a pivotal role in shaping ALJ’s cultural transformation, building a strong leadership pipeline, accelerating HR technology adoption, and establishing a long-term people strategy. His leadership supports ALJ’s operations across 35+ countries, six continents, and a workforce of over 12,000 employees from 70+ nationalities.
