Profile

Yulia Feygina is IASB Technical Director – Connectivity. Ms Feygina joined the IFRS Foundation in 2011 and worked in various roles on a variety of IASB projects, including on financial instruments, business combinations under common control, management commentary and aspects of the Conceptual Framework for Financial Reporting. In 2023, Ms Feygina was seconded to the ISSB as the lead drafter of IFRS S1 General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information.

Ms Feygina is currently responsible, together with her ISSB counterpart, for driving and embedding connections between the work of the IASB and ISSB. As part of her role, she provides support to the IASB and ISSB technical teams, with the current focus on the Climate-related and Other Uncertainties in the Financial Statements project and educational materials on the ISSB’s inaugural Standards. Ms Feygina also oversees the Management Commentary project and provides additional technical leadership and standard-setting expertise to the Integrated Reporting and Connectivity team.

Prior to joining the IFRS Foundation, Ms Feygina held various positions in PwC in the UK and Central and Eastern Europe and taught IFRS at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University).

Ms Feygina has an honours specialist’s degree in international economics from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University), ACCA/ATC Diploma in International Financial Reporting, DipIFR(Rus) and is CPA qualified.
