Annette Säfholm is currently business developer at Gedea Biotech AB, after having served as CEO of the company for almost 10 years. Gedea recently had EU approval of the antibiotic-free treatment of vaginal infections which supports the vaginal microbiome. She is also Chair of the board of Pharmista technologies, developing a first 2-in-1 reusable pregnancy and fertility test for home-use.She holds a PhD in Medicine from Lund University, a Master’s degree in Medical Biology from Linköping University, and an Executive MBA from Executive Foundation Lund (EFL). She has more than fifteen years of experience in executive roles from privately held and publicly listed biotech companies, as well as the healthcare sector.
