Lotte Klim is a patient advocate, co-founder of the Nordic Patient HTA Network, and former chair of a cross-sector consortium uniting industry, academia, and patient organizations to strengthen patient engagement in health R&D. She has served at the EMA and on the Pharmacovigilance Council at the Danish Medicines Agency. A prominent voice in the European patient community, she frequently speaks on patient engagement in R&D and HTA and teaches at EUPATI, training patients to participate effectively in the innovation ecosystem.
Lotte holds a BSc in Public Health and has published on award-winning patient engagement in HealthTech development and guidelines for developers. Her personal experience, combined with operational roles in pharma clinical development, gives her a rare dual perspective on development and real-world use. Today, as a Human Factors Specialist, she helps MedTech companies turn Patient Experience Data into a strategic asset—informing design, usability, regulatory evidence, and HTA positioning.
