Kalen Hall, PhD is Informuta’s Cofounder and Chief Executive Officer. She brings over a decade of experience at the bench and deep expertise in bacterial mutagenesis, antimicrobial resistance, and evolutionary biology. Kalen earned a B.S. in Biochemistry and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Florida and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Tulane University. During her PhD, her research on bacterial hypermutation and drug resistance laid the foundation for Informuta’s resistance forecasting technology and was published in high-impact journals, including Nature Communications. With training through programs like Creative Destruction Labs, Equalize, NSF I-Corps, CEO360, and the Idea Village, she bridges rigorous science with real-world clinical needs and entrepreneurial execution to advance infectious diseases care.
