Scott Miller is Executive Director of Alliance and Innovation Management (AIM) at Eli Lilly and Company, where he leads teams focused on maximizing the value of partnered assets, targets, and platform technologies. A recognized architect of Lilly's Early Phase Alliance Manager function, Scott played a defining role in building that expertise into the broader AIM organization.

Scott manages a diverse portfolio of strategic alliances with academic institutions and biotech partners, with a primary focus on early-phase immunology and large molecule platform discovery. His experience spans a wide range of business development partnership models from foundational research collaborations through the advancement of molecules into clinical trials.

With 25 years of industry experience, including 16 years at Lilly, Scott brings a deep understanding of what it takes to structure, govern, and sustain high-performing partnerships. His career began in drug discovery, where he worked as an ion channel pharmacologist focused on pain research; a scientific foundation that continues to inform his approach to partnering strategy.

Scott holds a B.S. in Biology from Frostburg State University and an M.S. in Molecular and Developmental Biology from the University of Cincinnati.
