How to Apply
This is a Middlesex University programme and qualification, jointly developed, delivered and assessed by Middlesex and Lloyd's Maritime Academy, and quality assured by Middlesex University.
An important decision
Before applying for this course, please consider carefully the decision you are making. Undertaking an MBA requires considerable commitment from both a financial perspective and, more importantly, the time required to undertake your studies.
Although you will be studying this programme by distance education, don’t be mistaken into thinking it will be an “easy option”. The nature of any distance learning course requires you to adopt a disciplined and independent approach to your studies - you will need good time management skills and self motivation. You will be expected to interact regularly with your tutors and fellow students – especially when you are working in teams and you need to rely on each other. While there is a comprehensive network of support and assistance available to you, the ultimate responsibility for successfully completing your studies lies with you!
Cut-off date
The deadline for application for the January 2024 course intake is 8th December 2023.
Applications which are incomplete at this date will not be accepted, and applications received after this date will unfortunately be rejected.
Application Process
Step 1
When you are ready to apply, please download the Application Guide here. This guide includes full application instructions and details of the instalment plan.
You should then download the Application for Enrolment Form from the link below and the Reference Form in PDF format here.
The Reference Form is for your referees to fill out.
Step 2
Prepare your answers for the Application for Enrolment Form, collect and scan the necessary documents and send the Reference Form to both of your referees and ensure you have everything on the application checklist.
Step 4
You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of your application within 48 hours. We will then review your application to ensure it is complete. We will contact you again to advise you that your application has been forwarded to the University, or to request any missing documentation.
