Profile
Ioannis is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at Middlesex Business School. He was awarded a PhD in Economics from the University of Kent, UK in 2008 and he also holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Manchester, UK. Ioannis is an economist with research and teaching interests in the areas of International Economics, Macroeconomics and Quantitative Methods. Prior to Middlesex University, he has held lectureship positions at the University of Kent, Regent’s University London and University of Greenwich. Ioannis has published a book on Trade and Competitiveness and chapters in edited volumes. His research focuses on issues of international trade, productivity and growth. Ioannis has published numerous articles in international academic journals and has extensive experience with distance learning education on the well-established and prestigious Middlesex University programme of MBA in Shipping and Logistics.
