Sasha McCune is a creative research, design and innovation leader who oversees the Media, Entertainment & Culture practice at CMB. With more than 15 years of experience working with Fortune 1000 companies, she has insight into media, entertainment, consumer electronics, hardware, software, lifestyle, and more. She is passionate about studying the complex and changing media ecosystem and has built her career around merging the worlds of data and design to craft compelling narratives to shape the future of products, services, experiences, and brands. Recently, Sasha has been exploring the ripple effects of change within industries from innovations such as generative AI, studying cultural themes and fandom experiences across genres, and directing research to help brands launch, grow, or pivot in an already saturated media ecosystem.

Sasha received her Bachelor of Science from Drexel University in Design where she specialized in information design and has built her career translating data into creative strategic thinking and bringing an innovation mindset to her craft as a research and insights leader. She is an active thought leader in the research community, serving as a member of the Insights Association, Women in Research (WIRe), and as a regular speaker at conferences and events.
