Ian McLeod Kerr is the Founder and CEO of Raven Controls, the innovate leading digital incident management and event operations platform trusted by the world's leading sports, entertainment and venue organisations.

With a career spanning more than two decades in emergency management, resilience, and counter-terrorism planning, Ian has built aninternational reputation for helping organisations prepare for, respond to,and recover from complex incidents. His expertise was forged during a ten year career with Police Scotland, where he specialised in emergency planning and counter-terrorism, working alongside emergency services, government agencies, and strategic partners to develop robust, integrated plans for major incidents and national resilience.

A passionate advocate for Integrated Emergency Management (IEM), Ian believes that resilience is built through collaboration. His approach centreson multi-agency working, shared situational awareness, stakeholder engagement, and effective communication, ensuring that organisations areequipped to respond confidently when it matters most. These principles form the foundation of Raven Controls and continue to shape theplatform's development, enabling organisations to move beyond staticplans to dynamic, real-time operational management.

Since founding Raven Controls in 2018, Ian has transformed years of operational experience into a technology platform that empowers organisations to plan, coordinate, communicate, and respond moreeffectively. Today, Raven Controls supports clients across sport,entertainment, local government and critical infrastructure, helping themimprove resilience, strengthen governance, and enhance operationalperformance.

Ian has worked alongside some of the world's most recognised brands and governing bodies in sport and entertainment, including UEFA, DP World Tour, Major League Baseball (MLB), Legends Global, Live Nation, and leading 2 football clubs including Liverpool FC, Fulham FC, and Aston Villa FC. His experience also includes supporting the delivery of two Ryder Cups andnumerous other high-profile international events, where effective planning,interoperability, and stakeholder collaboration are critical to success.

Under Ian's leadership, Raven Controls has expanded internationally and isnow supporting organisations across Europe and North America. His visionis to redefine how organisations manage incidents and operations bycombining proven emergency management methodologies with intuitivedigital technology that provides greater accountability, visibility, andoperational assurance.
