Previously, Tala served as the Chief Public Affairs Officer at Viola Communications, a subsidiary of the 2.0 Group, where she led public affairs and strategic advisory services supporting clients in policy positioning, stakeholder engagement, and market entry strategies. In her role as Executive Director at Viola, Tala drove growth and transformation within the Influence & PR vertical, overseeing integrated mandates and high-value client partnerships across the UAE and the region.
Tala has held senior leadership roles at global firms such as ASDA’A BCW and Ketchum Raad, and has led strategic communications for major institutions such as the Qatar Foundation. With a track record of founding and co-founding communications firms in the Levant, she has advised international organisations on public diplomacy, governance, and strategic positioning.
An active member of the industry, Tala serves on the Executive Board of the Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA), contributing to industry governance and shaping the future of the communications profession in the region. She is an alumna of the John Smith Trust Rule of Law Fellowship (UK) and the Leaders for Democracy Fellowship (USA), and has completed executive education at Syracuse University's Maxwell School.
