With an impressive career spanning four decades in the Commercial Real Estate industry, Lloyd Cooper has established himself as one of Canada's top Commercial Brokers.
Specializing in Tenant and Occupier advisory for Office, Industrial, and Retail properties, in addition to handling select Agency assignments for Institutional developers, Lloyd oversees numerous Globaland National Accounts and provides his clients with a full-service platform that includes Consulting and Appraisal services, Capital Markets, underwriting expertise and seamless global coverage.
Serving as the Chairman of the Cushman & Wakefield Tenant Advisory Practice Group (TAG) from 2020-2022, Lloyd had played a pivotal role in implementing the group's Technology, Social Media platform, and Mentoring Initiatives. He currently holds positions on the C&W Global and Canadian Advisory Committees, the C&W CoreNet committee, and serves as a mentor to emerging brokers in both organizations.
Lloyd is the senior Broker at Cushman & Wakefield’s Quebec platform, based in Montreal and heads up a team of 5 Brokers. Consistently the top sales producer for over four decades, he has maintained a position among Canada's National Top Ten salespeople since 1994 and was named the Number One Real Estate Professional for Cushman & Wakefield in Canada for 2011, 2013, 2015, 2020 and 2024. He is one of the few active members of the C&W Hall of Fame and has held the position of Executive Vice Chair since 2018.
Lloyd and his team have participated in some of the largest and most sophisticated transactions in Canada ranging from multi-locational reorganizations, Sale/leasebacks, built-to-suit Office, Industrial, and Life Science transactions. His team consistently outperforms the competition in transaction volume and client satisfaction. In 2025 alone, the team completed over 180 transactions, exceeding $539 million in total transaction value, and leased more than 2 million square feet of space.
Clients such as Deloitte, Stikeman Elliott, Apple, Boeing, Bell, RBC, Pfizer, Rogers, Via Rail, KIA, and others, validate the extensive and diverse scope of Lloyd's professional involvements. Client service and constant communication are notable characteristics his clients can attest to.
An active member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D), Lloyd is actively pursuing Board positions. He is also a Lawyer and is a Governor of the Barreau du Quebec Foundation.
