Are you looking for a stage to share your story with the industry? We are looking for speakers to join our 2027 agenda.

NORM Management Conference is calling for groundbreaking research, practical and technical insights into NORM & TENORM.

Key Themes:

Authors submitting technical presentations are requested to provide a concise abstract that clearly describes the work, its relevance to NORM management, and its contribution to the conference theme: "Turning the Key: From Liabilities to Opportunities."

For this conference, authors are encouraged (but not restricted to) to submit papers covering:

  • NORM characterisation, measurement and monitoring;
  • Treatment technologies;
  • NORM in the industry: Oil & gas, critical raw materials, mining, water, fertiliser etc;
  • Resource recovery and valorisation;
  • Recycle or disposal options;
  • Circular economy applications;
  • Regulatory and risk governance approaches;
  • Decommissioning;
  • Financing and business models;
  • Industrial best practices or case studies;
  • Stakeholder engagement and societal acceptance;
  • Waste management, packaging & transportation;
  • Product development & new innovations.

  • Title should be concise and reflect the study.
  • List all authors with full names, affiliations and country along with presenting author to be indicated.
  • Length:
    • Maximum: 1 page
    • Recommended: 500–800 words
    • Single spacing
    • Figures and tables may be included if essential, provided the abstract does not exceed one page.
  • Body structured as follow:
    • Context and purpose of work
    • Methodology
    • Key findings/ Results with data (if available)
    • Conclusions including key takeaways
    • Keywords
  • Attach presenter's biography & picture with the abstract.
  • Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • Content should be original.

Criteria for Selection:

The following criteria will be applied in determining the papers for inclusion in the 2027 program:

  • Relevance to the conference themes and panels
  • Scientific & technical quality and originality
  • Innovation
  • Practical applicability
  • Contribution to circular economy and sustainability
  • Regulatory or societal relevance
  • Clarity of presentation

Vendors & Solution Providers

Vendors must encourage clients to submit an abstract. Vendors may assist with client presentation but client must be the presenter. If you, as a vendor, submit an abstract on behalf of client, the client speaker contact information should be provided as the final presenter.

Speaker Registration

Speakers selected to present will be automatically registered to attend the event FREE of charge. Co‐authors and speaker colleagues will receive a 20% discount on the registration fees.

Speakers/co‐authors/speaker colleagues will be responsible for any costs associated with attending this event (travel, accommodation, general expenses, etc.).

Speakers will be allocated timings once the agenda has been confirmed. Please kindly note, sending an abstract does not guarantee you a speaking slot at the conference.
