Diane Seol is an experienced litigator who advises clients in high-stakes government and corporate investigations. Before re-joining Choate Hall & Stewart in 2026, Diane served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Affirmative Civil Enforcement unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, where she handled sophisticated False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute investigations and litigations. During her time in ACE, Diane was involved in some of the unit’s most high-profile matters, including a $450 million settlement with a pharmaceutical manufacturer to resolve allegations relating to one of the company’s copay patient assistance programs, as well as an intervened qui tam involving allegations that a manufacturer fraudulently manipulated federal reimbursement for one of its drugs by knowingly submitting false price reports to Medicare.
