Lawrence Doyle began his career in Investment Bank­ing at Dillon, Read & Co., Inc., and continued his work in M&A as a VP at Generale Occidentale, the holding company for Sir James Goldsmith. Mr. Doyle was then an SVP at Refco Capital Investment Advisors, Inc., where he began his career in the hedge fund industry. In 1992, Mr. Doyle founded Tower Capital Inc., a L/S equity FoFs which, at its peak, managed $2.3 billion in AUM and was one of the five largest FoFs in the hedge fund industry. Mr. Doyle sold Tower Capital’s FoFs business to HypoV­ereinsbank, at the time the 2nd largest German bank and in 2017, Tower Capital began to concentrate its business exclusively in L/S healthcare. In 2020, Tower Capital established The Healthcare Platform for UHNW investors and family offices to capitalize on the significant return opportunities in the healthcare sector by investing with top-tier L/S healthcare managers through a Private Placement Variable Annuity (PPVA) or Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI). The first L/S healthcare manager on the Healthcare Platform was seeded by a single family office in 2022. Mr. Doyle earned a BS in Eco­nomics from Tulane University and an MBA from Columbia Uni­versity.
