Alex Hall is the Chief Financial Officer of Terminal Investment Limited (TiL) based in Geneva, Switzerland. He has been in this position since March 2025. TiL is one of the major global container terminal operators, owned by MSC, GIP and GIC, with investments and operations in over 80 ports worldwide, including some of the largest ports such as Long Beach, Los Angeles, Newark, Houston, Ningbo, Singapore, Valencia, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Santos, Busan and many others. Over the past many years, TiL has consistently outpaced the market growth, both in good and challenging times, and has grown in double digits year on year.

Alex has over 30 years experience in senior executive roles across finance, strategy and operations. Most recently, he spent more than two decades at ABB, where he held prominent leadership positions. Before his tenure at ABB gained experience at IBM and NatWest Markets.

Alex holds a BSc Econ from Swansea University, Wales and MSc from Bristol University, England and is an Associate of the UK Chartered Institute of Bankers.
