Andrew J. Alexander is a Managing Director in PNC’s Debt Capital Markets Group. As Private Placements Group Head, Andrew is responsible for originating and structuring private (4(a)(2) / Reg D exempt) securities with national coverage across PNC’s corporate & institutional client base. Mr. Alexander has diverse industry knowledge with product expertise in both public (144a/Registered) and private securities, including experience in high yield and investment grade capital markets. Andrew has extensive experience maintaining client and investor relationships while executing complex securities transactions in the private placement market.
Prior to working within PNC’s Debt Capital Markets Group, he was responsible for providing transaction structuring, due diligence, financial modeling, valuation and the writing of offering memoranda for bank clients as a Senior Associate working on a variety of M&A and capital raising activities. Prior to PNC, he spent three years in Corporate Banking in credit and relationship management and another three years in finance for a middle-market manufacturing company. With over 30 years of experience, Andrew has worked on a variety of corporate finance transactions in various capital markets, commercial banking and private industry.
Mr. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with dual majors in Finance and Economics from The Ohio State University. Andrew also has an M.B.A. in Corporate Finance from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Alexander holds the Series 7, 63 and 79 securities licenses and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Andrew is a long-time resident of Peters Township, Pennsylvania, along with his wife Jennifer and three sons.
