Ben Munguia is the Global Head of the Sports Sector and a Senior Director in Fitch Ratings’ Corporate Ratings group, based in Austin, Texas. He oversees the global sports portfolio and covers project finance and P3 credits across North America.

With over 15 years of experience in credit and public finance, Ben has a strong background in the industry. Prior to his current role, he worked in the water finance sector, where he led a team of analysts and managed the credit review and oversight of a portfolio of municipal issuers throughout Texas.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Spanish, as well as an MBA from the McCombs School of Business, both from The University of Texas at Austin.
