Profile

Charles Therriault holds an MBA from the University of Hartford, a BS in Finance from the University of Connecticut and is a CFA® charterholder. He was an Assistant Vice President in the Private Placements group at Citigroup’s Travelers division. Prior responsibilities at Citigroup included implementing a private equity investment management and accounting platform and managing a portfolio analytics group. After 16-years at Citigroup’s Travelers, he joined Washington Mutual Corporation in 2005 as a First Vice President, working on mortgage-servicing rights valuation and analytics. He took a position at BNY Mellon in 2008 and was a Managing Director in the Government Solutions group managing various initiatives supporting the U.S. government’s financial stability programs in response to the Global Financial Crisis. In 2013, Charles was appointed as the Director of the NAIC’s Securities Valuation Office managing the credit quality assessment processes for securities owned by state regulated insurance companies.
