Colin McGinlay is Head of Private Corporates in EMEA for MetLife Investment Management’s (MIM) Private Capital. He is responsible for leading MIM’s London-based private placement team covering the corporate debt private placement markets in the UK, Ireland, and continental Europe.

Prior to his current role, Colin has managed deal origination, transaction underwriting, and ongoing issuer credit and relationship management across several sectors in Europe. Before joining MIM in 2014, he was a member of the credit risk team covering medium and large UK corporates at the Royal Bank of Scotland and worked in audit.

Colin earned a B.A. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He is a Chartered Accountant (CA).
