Elena focuses on originating both corporate and project finance private debt transactions for Nuveen.

Elena joined Nuveen in 2020 and previously spent 8 years at PPM America, a money management division of Jackson National Life Insurance. At PPM America she was involved in the private placement group as a vice president, responsible for portfolio management and origination of investment grade private placement debt (including traditional corporates, project finance and CTLs). Elena started her career in 2005, participating in KeyBanc's corporate and investment banking rotational analyst program and worked in various roles across debt capital markets, real estate and equity research.

Elena graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics and minor in Business from John Carroll University and holds the CFA designation.
