Frederick Echeverria joined MUFG’s capital markets group in June 2012 and is the Head of Private Capital Markets/Project Bonds. During his nearly ten years at the firm MUFG has become a top 3-5 player in the Private Placement market and top 1-3 in Project Bonds.

Frederick has executed over 90 project finance bond transactions as a bookrunner raising over $40 billion for his clients. While at MUFG, Frederick executed over 85 project finance bond transactions including DP World Canada, Climate Pledge Arena, GSRP Portfolios I&II, Sabine Pass Liquefaction, Cheniere Corpus Christie, Whistler Pipeline, 8Point3 InvestCo, Aurora Solar, CED Wind, FLNG3, CVO Holdings, NuevaEra Pipeline, Holtwood Hydro, Florida Southeast Connection, ITR, MATEP, Hudson Transmission, Moapa Solar, AES Southland, Tenaska CSOLAR West, Sabal Trail, NRG Carlsbad, Alamo 6, Moapa Solar, CPV Fairview, FLNG2, Alta Wind VIII, Trans Bay Cable, AIA Colchis, Gator Power II, SBM Deep Panuke, Coram Wind, SBM Baleia Azul, GenConn Energy, Tenaska CSOLAR IV South, Lone Star Transmission, Virginia International Gateway, and Enbridge Pipelines. Frederick spent four years as the Global Head of Private Placements at BNP Paribas focused on energy-related and project finance transactions. While at BNP Paribas, Frederick executed a number of project finance bond transactions including Panoche Energy Center, Mountain Prairie Wind and Terra-Gen Dixie Valley. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Frederick spent four years in the Syndicated & Leveraged Finance Group at JPMorgan. Before joining JPMorgan, Frederick worked for six years as a process engineer for ABB Lummus Global in Houston.

Frederick holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from SUNY Buffalo and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
