Gaurav heads the private debt team for Canada Life and Empower.
The team members are responsible for managing a C$37 billion portfolio spread across the Canadian, US and European balance sheets
The team members are based in Toronto, London, New York and Denver and originate C$3.5-4 billion in assets annually.
Gaurav joined Canada Life in 2002. Prior to this he worked as an auditor in Canada, Middle East and India. He completed a bachelor’s degree (Commerce) at University of New Delhi and a Master of Business Administration from University of Western Ontario.
Gaurav earned his chartered accountant designation in India in 1996 and a Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2004.
