Jake is the Director of Financial Regulation for the Utah Insurance Department, overseeing financial solvency and licensing for 50 domestic insurers. Within the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), he currently chairs the Credit Rating Provider Working Group and previously served as Chair of the Financial Blanks Working Group and Vice Chair of both the Valuation of Securities Task Force and the Capital Adequacy Task Force. His civic background includes service on the Kaysville City Council and Planning Commission.

Jake holds a BA in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Utah and completed the Business Professionals Course with The Aji Network.
