John is a Senior Vice President in Moody’s Ratings Global Project and Infrastructure Finance Team where he is a global analytical lead for Moody’s digital infrastructure franchise, including engagement with the private credit market. John’s expert commentary has been featured on Bloomberg: The Close and The Wall Street Journal’s What’s News podcast, as well as interviews with Bloomberg News, the WSJ, and the New York Times’ Deal Book. John annually speaks at multiple industry conferences, authors leading industry research, and leads new rating assignments for complex project financings. John has been named a Smith's All-Star Municipal Analyst multiple times across multiple asset types and was a Bond Buyer Rising Star.

Before joining the project finance team in 2010, John was a lead analyst for local governments and enterprises in Moody’s Ratings Eastern Region Local Government Team rating municipal issuers in PA, NY, NJ, VA, and FL. John helped launch and was the first co-chair of Moody’s Multicultural Business Resource Group and was also a founding member of Moody’s PRIDE Business Resource Group.

Prior to joining Moody’s, John worked as a risk management analyst, a property and casualty insurance account manager, and a health care hospital claims auditor. John earned his BA from Stanford University and his MPA from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
