Michael is the Head of US Private Placements at National Australia Bank, based in New York City. In this role, Michael leads a cross-border franchise that advises the Bank’s clients in the US, the UK, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia on accessing the private placement and project bond markets.
Michael has more than 15 years of experience originating, structuring, and syndicating private placement transactions across the infrastructure and energy, corporate, fund finance, utilities, real estate, and aviation sectors. Throughout his career, Michael has raised and distributed more than $50 billion of securities to institutional investors globally.
Before joining National Australia Bank in 2025, Michael spent six years on MUFG’s private placement team and eight years at Lloyds Bank, across both private placements and project finance.
